SOJU BOYS TAKE LOS SANTOS BY STORM
EMS by Day, Pop Icons by Night?
By Valentina Van Voughn
Los Santos has a new obsession.
And no, it’s not a scandal.
Not a gang.
Not a lawsuit.
It’s five men in colourful hair and coordinated confidence.
SOJU BOYS.
Their debut, sponsored by none other than Bob Burgerweather from Burger Shot, drew a crowd so loud it rattled nearby storefront windows. Glow sticks lit up the night. Phones were raised. Cheers echoed down the block.
For a city that thrives on chaos, it felt almost… wholesome.
Almost.

How I Found Them
I learned about Soju Boys by accident.
I had to be transported to the hospital due to… unfortunate injuries.
From what, you’ll just have to imagine.
On the ambulance ride, Coconut and Grape were kind enough to turn on some music when I asked.
Instead of sirens, I got their demo.
I won’t lie.
It was catchy.
Infectiously so.
Their harmonies were surprisingly tight. Their confidence wasn’t manufactured. It felt organic. Earnest.
If they survive the chaos of Los Santos, they might actually survive the charts too.
A Crowd Like No Other
The debut night was electric.
Camera flashes everywhere. Fans chanting fruit names like battle cries. Glow sticks waving in uneven rhythm.
The boys performed like they’d been waiting their whole lives for this exact moment.
And maybe they had.
For a few hours, Los Santos wasn’t thinking about crime rates or police scanners.
It was singing.
But Here’s What Didn’t Add Up
The police presence.
Heavy. Too heavy.
Officers positioned around corners. Watching entrances. Talking into radios more than cheering.
They weren’t swaying to the music.
They weren’t filming.
They weren’t even pretending to enjoy it.
I asked one casually if they were excited for the debut.
He blinked.
Didn’t even recognize the name.
So they weren’t there for Soju Boys.
Which means…
They were there for someone else.
Concert… or Cover?
Large gatherings attract more than fans.
Was someone dangerous expected to attend?
Was there intel of a leak?
A target?
Or perhaps someone needed the noise of a concert to disappear quietly into the crowd.
Los Santos doesn’t deploy that much uniform presence for fruit-themed choreography.
So while Soju Boys were taking hearts…
Someone else may have been taking advantage of the spotlight.
And in this city, whenever something shines that brightly —
You have to ask what it’s distracting you from.
